<p>DesignLights Consortium (DLC) is an independent organization that certifies commercial LED fixtures meet minimum efficiency and performance standards. Most utilities require DLC listing to qualify for rebates — but there are two tiers: Standard and Premium.</p>
<h2>DLC Standard vs DLC Premium</h2>
<p><strong>DLC Standard</strong> meets baseline efficiency requirements. Most utilities accept it for rebates, but at lower amounts.</p>
<p><strong>DLC Premium</strong> requires significantly higher efficacy (lumens per watt), better color rendering, and tighter tolerances. Utilities reward it with rebates 25-50% higher than Standard.</p>
